Metrograph presents 12 Film Festival: A Film Festival Celebrating Reinvention, Resilience, and Romance Rooted in the timeless Cinderella story, 12 Film Festival explores how a single fairytale has been retold across decades, genres, and cultures. From Disney's 1950 animation to pop-infused musicals like Cinderella (2021) and Sneakerella, this festival traces the evolution of transformation, identity, and voice through ten iconic films. The branding system, developed as part of a semester-long design project, aims to reflect the themes of reinvention and fantasy that define these stories. The logotype, color palette, and typographic structure were created to bridge nostalgia with modern flair, uniting classics and contemporary reboots under one cohesive visual language. Deliverables include a double-sided poster, a logotype, and a fully designed festival website. Each offers a distinct but unified experience, demonstrating how branding can build narrative, audience connection, and visual continuity across platforms.
