This project explores the expressive potential of typography through a series of eight book cover compositions inspired by Emil Ruder's Typographic Variation. Using only type, no images or illustrations, each study investigates the tension between form and function, clarity and abstraction. The content, drawn from Working Together: Louis Draper and the Kamoinge Workshop, is reinterpreted across eight unique covers. Each composition uses one of four sans-serif typefaces, Futura PT, Neue Haas Grotesk, Trade Gothic Next, and ITC Avant Garde Gothic, to emphasize the distinct personality and structure of each font.
