Seasonal Winter Calendar, Fall 2025

Print DesignTypographic StudiesResearch, 8.5 x 11 in.

This project is a daily tear-off calendar designed to guide people through the coldest months of the year using small, grounding rituals. Spanning November through February, the calendar reframes winter as a period of gradual transition rather than stagnation, offering daily practices that respond to subtle seasonal shifts in light, temperature, and mood. The visual system is built around a modular shape that functions as a grid for each page, allowing for consistency while supporting daily variation. Each month is assigned its own vibrant color palette, tints that slowly shift lighter or darker to reflect changes in daylight across the season. Bold color and playful composition are used intentionally to counter the emotional weight often associated with winter, creating an experience that feels energizing, warm, and supportive. Designed as a physical object, the calendar emphasizes ritual, touch, and presence. The act of tearing away each page marks the passage of time and encourages awareness of daily rhythms, while the object itself is meant to live visibly within a space, evolving alongside the season.
